I have just recently finalized my new full length album in LA. After performing on the NBC show "The Voice" and spending several months of hard work in the studio, my new creation of music is unbelievable. Personally, it has set the bar even higher and has expanded my own boundaries. Most recently I have formed my own private label simply to keep my music pure and authentic to who I am as a singer songwriter, and this unique R&B soul style of music certainly rings true on this album. This collaborative music project has truly been inspiring and a launch pad to my journey back to LA to work with an A-list producer.. I'm so honored and privileged for this opportunity and to bring my original music to you. I could not have done this without all of your support and encouragement over the past year. I'm excited to be performing my executive showcase live May 21 at the Hotel Cafe.
Grant has been singing and playing guitar since he was five. In 2014, when he began posting his performances on YouTube, as a 15-year old singer songwriter he never imagined that in a matter of months he’d be singing to an audience of millions on one of the hottest shows on television. Grant wasn’t pursuing fame, but it sure found him as a talent agent saw his online performances and asked if he’d be interested in auditioning for NBC’s The Voice. After passing several levels of auditions, Grant earned a spot on Blake Shelton’s team and an opportunity to sing in front of a live audience on a national stage.
While the show has ended, his career is far from over. With coaching and encouragement from the show’s judges, Grant is now passionately pursuing a music career performing his own unique style of soul-infused songs to live audiences.
This summer Grant was selected to perform at South by Southwest Music festival in Austin Tx. where he represent Iowa's best singer song writers. SXSW is one of the largest, most influential music events of the year and draws the best musicians from around the world. Shortly after his SXSW performance Grant was invited to headline the Generation Z stage at the 80/35 music festival right here in des Moines Iowa. Everyday he continues to live out his dream and pursue his musical passion. After a very successful EP album last summer Grant spent several months in Nashville songwriting and is now producing his new full length album in LA.
